MUNICIPAL CREMATORIUM MEISSEN

Prisoners from the Flossenburg sub camp of Nossen will be cremated in the muncipal crematorium of Meissen. ( 5 in November 1944, December: 10, and January: 5) From the end of January 1945 dead prisoners will be buried in a mass grave in the Nossen town cemetary. Until 14 April 86 bodies will be transferred to the cemetary by body truck. The dead will be registered in the Church register of buriels including information of: age, profession, name. From the 650 prisoners in this sub camp it is estimated that 100 died.

Dead prisoners from the Flossenburg sub camp of Meissen-Neuhirschstein were transproted in lorries to the munciciapl crematorium of Meissen.
